NFT Market Update - Week 48, 2022

Mini Bull Run, In The Green For The Second Week. What? All three indexes had another healthy week of gains. The Dow increased by 0.2%, while The S&P 500 increased by 1.1%, The Nasdaq had the largest weekly gains closing out Friday up 2.1%. This is the first time since October that all three indexes had two consecutive weeks of growth. The Crypto Market started off the week consolidating from last week’s events. Since the start of the week, we have seen healthy gains for both BC and ETH. What interests me is how ETH has continuously out performed BC on the rebounds throughout this Bear Market.

NFT Market Update - Week 47, 2022

FTX Hacker, Dumps Stolen Crypto Crashing Market! The stock market had very nice gains in the short holiday week. The Dow saw a seven-month high. But the S&P 500 is approaching its 200-day moving average, a key resistance area. Several economic reports are scheduled for next week, including the November jobs report. Those will determine what happens with the continued Fed rate hikes. The Crypto Market started off the week tanking, due to the FTX Hacker unloading the stolen funds. Throughout the week it regained its stance. From this point we saw continued consolidation to close out the holiday week. The NFT Market was very similar this week to the Crypto Market. All though there were a couple projects that popped off, Most of the week was very low in overall volume. We did see some excitement and good sales through the weekend. This was a very strong signal that people are still willing to gamble on projects they believe in. We also saw some good Degen projects create volume this weekend. From my point of view, I would say one affected the other. People see good volume and relax there state of fear until the next set back.

NFT Market Update - Week 46, 2022

FTX Fallout, Puts Exchanges On Edge, As People Struggle With Rising Fear & Trust Issues! This week we saw, The Stock market drift backwards a bit after last week’s Friday rally to close out the week. This Friday the market did close on a good note after the PPI report was released and better than expected. A closing rally of about 200 points. Overall, the market is up for the month and in a good position to make some more gains. The Crypto and NFT Markets are still suffering from the FTX fallout. People just don’t feel their investments are safe. FTX shattered the trust of millions as people show this by continuing to liquidate their holdings in Crypto and NFT’s. This has put a tremendous strain on all exchanges. We will see if any others drop during these challenging times. Binance announced this week that they were going to create a rescue plan for deserving and strong projects that experience liquid issues. Not sure exactly how projects would qualify, but this news gave Crypto prices a nice bounce earlier in the week.

FTX Scandal, Fucks It’s Holders & Triggers A Crypto & NFT Blood Bath. Sending The Entire Web3 World Into Chaos The FTX scandal has certainly gotten worse in the last 72 hours. Prepare for this blood bath to continue as we learn more by the day. FTX seriously fucked its holders by using deposited funds to back loans in an effort to invest and try to make more money. When this was revealed and people started pulling their funds from FTX it became perfectly clear that the statements were accurate as they couldn’t cover the withdrawals and locked it down. This resulted in the price of FTX crashing even further, resulting in millions of people globally losing their investments.

Art Gobblers, Resuscitates The NFT Market With Some Shock Therapy! This week we saw another interest hike of .75% and The monthly employment numbers were released and climbed to 3.7%. With all this the markets were down overall for the week but had a nice bounce upwards to close out the week. In the Web3 world we saw crypto gains and the ability to hold those gains mostly. The NFT market had some volume growth this week and some interesting secondary action to boot. Oh, and a WTF moment for Art Gobblers which was a free mint that instantly mooned to the tune of 30K. We knew it was going to do well but I was thinking more like a 4 Eth high.

The Bear Will Not Hibernate During This Crypto Winter! For the 6th straight week, the NFT Market experienced a d decline in volume. With Halloween being tomorrow its only fitting that the market continues to bleed. The US Stock market however ended the week with a rally to close the week out with a two-month high. In addition, The Crypto Market had a good week as well. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum saw substantial increases to close out the week. There was some recorrecting at the close of the week, but overall good gains. All of this positive movement surely helped keep the NFT volume down.

Market Drops Again This week we have seen a major pullback and selloff in the markets. The Dow Jones Dropping 800 points closing the week out. This is primarily due to the Fed raising interest rates again. The rate hike may have been the cause but the following were all contributing factors to the economic state we face. The war in Ukraine, covid overspending, food import shortages, rising fuel costs just to name a few. These all have played a role in the rapid inflation we are facing. The NFT world over the last two months has primarily decreased in volume and sales week after week. We see tiny swings within 5-10 million per week. With no major increase of an additional 100 plus million in volume returning anytime soon, as investors are still feeling very bearish. This has continued to create major declines in the NFT market including Blue Chip projects. For those that are still active and trading, this has created various good entry points for projects that are producing through this bear market.
